The Options Online system is a real-time web interface to the main Options program that can be made to look and feel like it is part of your website. The biggest benefit of the online system is that it is linked in real-time to the Options system so that any changes to product, customer or order information made in Options is immediately available on your website.
Alongside the customer login facilities listed above, there is also the ability to have a link from your website which allows web users that are not previous customers to browse your catalogue and optionally place orders. Orders placed via the online system go into a suspense window in Options and your designated users are advised that an online order has been received from the web site and needs to be confirmed into a live order in Options. This has the facility for the orders placed from the website that are not from existing customers, to optionally generate a customer code and convert these orders into live orders.
An upfront fee is not charged for the online system – just a monthly maintenance fee – pricing depends on number of users and locations. |
